The 4400 Season Two Finale:
"Mommy's Bosses" Reviewed

By John Crawford

August 29th, 2005

The 4400 Season two finale closed up much of the loose ends.  It surely wasn't the cliffhanger I was expecting.  Nonetheless, I liked it all the same.  Kyle is off to turn himself in for the murder of Jordan. The 4400 illness was solved. Dennis Ryland and 14 other Homeland Security officials were carted off to jail.  Nina's back at the helm. Diana and Maia, and Tom and Alana are reunited.  Shawn can heal again. Richard developed telekinesis. And lastly, Diana and Marco exchange a very wet kiss.

Loose Ends.

The Fate of Kyle.  The 4400's developing abilities that were being suppressed by the drug.  An grown-up Isabelle came to visit Shawn, wearing no clothes.  Where's that going?  Dr. Burkhoff finds himself as a hippie on the beach.  Maia says the "war" is just beginning.  Well, there's our third season theme.

Predictions For Next Season.

Jordan returns.  Remember his body disappeared?  Diana and Marco get HOT and Heavy, and it causes problems at work.  Tom and Alana marry. Kyle stays out of prison.  Richard and Lily develop extraordinary powers, and split up.  We learn more about Nina, her past, and maybe a romance.

What I Liked About This Season.

Each week was a new adventure.  Although some themes carried through, new 4400's and new plots were introduced.  Each regular character got a turn at the spotlight.

What I Didn't Liked About This Season.

Only 13 episodes.
