The 4400 - Gone, Part 2 More Rantings
By John Crawford
After I had a chance to see the episode again early this
morning, I now understand what was in the envelope that Tom found in
the house. Apparently, it has was a vile, similar to the one Matthew
gave to Isabelle. Hmmm... is that a coincidence? What are the
possibilities that Matthew is form the future? We know nothing about
his past, but he seems to be completely connected with insights into
the 4400's. Even Jordan Collier knew far too much about Isabelle, and
exploiting the 4400's abilities.
When I mentioned a temporal cold war, I really didn't
read that much into it. But now it's starting to make sense. What is
Matthew is not only from the future, but from the enemy? The fact that
he knows how to kill Isabelle and the furture agent waht her dead too
makes this less plausable. In any case, Matthew's past is completely
unknown. He's already succeeded in causing a power fight at the 4400
Center, and he's caused personal grief between Richard, Shawn, and
Isabelle. This man has an agenda, and it's not to help run the 4400
Center.
Hopefully, we'll see the return of Jordan later this
year when Actor Billy Campbell returns from his 18 Month yacht trip.
Jordan will know how to handle the NOVA group and know how to deal with
Matthew, Isabelle, Shawn, and NTAC.
As an off shoot, it would be very cool to see some
crossover characters from the other USA Network shows. Monk might now
be quite the style since The 4400 is such a dark show. Possibly Johnny
from the Deadzone. I'm sure they could find some good reason for him to
make a trip to Seattle, or have a 4400 from Penobscot County, Maine.
Ok, it's not likely to happen, but couldn't you see Johnny mixing it up
with Diana and Tom on a case? For that matter, could you see Monk out
on a case with Diana and Tom? Mr.
Monk and The 4400, there's an episode title.
